So, I'm never really around LJ anymore and sadly don't have a lot of time for fannish sorts of things these days, but when I realized this was Robin's canonical bday and that the RAS had been started five years ago (!!!), I made time to throw this together:

As an added bonus, have some pervtastic screenshots from Jonas's latest film, Edge of Tomorrow...

Hope you all are doing well!! :)

Well, I'm two days late, but thanks for making this post.

Here's a simple picspam that I made for a Land of Art challenge. It has an image from every episode from season 1.

You're welcome.

I can scarcely recognize Jonas from the first screencap you posted.

He's definitely changed, hasn't he? Overall, it's been kind of a gradual change through his roles, but the crew cut is a really severe look for him. It works here, since he's in the military, but personally I miss the longer hair. ;)

eta: I might miss the longer hair, but I'm diggin' the rest. Yow. XD

Haha, duly noted :)

Did you go to see that movie and if so, did you like it? How big was his role?

It seems it was shown here in May-June, but it's not really the type of movie that I'd go to see, and wasn't even aware of it, to be honest. I'm guessing it was advertised solely as a Tom Cruise movie anyway.

I'll start by saying that I really like most action movies, like some sci-fi, and really don't like Tom Cruise. So, I expected to suffer through a couple hours of Cruise in the name of fangirling. :-D Shortly before I went to see it, a fellow Jonas fan gave me a head's up that he was shirtless for a percentage of his screen time.

Sooo, I forked out for tickets to the 3D show. ;-)

And actually, I really enjoyed it! I wasn't expecting some of the humor, and I thought the plot was pretty engaging. In the end, I saw it three times in theatres, even though Jonas's role was kind of small (although, I think his screen time was about comparable to all the other actors who weren't Tom Cruise or Emily Blunt). Also, bonus Lara Pulver sighting toward the end; apparently, she had a scene, but it was cut. :-( And the DVD is pretty skimpy on extras, despite the fact that there was a fairly large marketing campaign w for the theatrical release over here-- so, no deleted scenes.

I really recommend it, though maybe not as strongly to anyone who doesn't like action flicks.

Late reply, but still wanted to add that I'm glad that the movie turned out better than you expected. Sci-fi is probably more of a 'no' for me than action, but if there comes a chance to see it later, I might.

Take care.
